Lauren is the oldest child in her family.
Mercy is the second child in her family.
Elise is the third child in her family.
Claire is the fourth child in her family.
Ralphette is the fifth child in her family.
And there you go. That's some pretty precise placement on girls, there.
And don't worry about the name. She won't be Ralphette forever, anymore than Ezra was Kronk, Mercy was Yzma, Gideon was Dule, and Heber was Baby Awesome.
What she WILL be named...now that's another story. You know us and naming babies. Everyone is welcome to give suggestions (remember: unusual, spellable, and pronounceable), but don't expect to hear anything until after the birth!

And purple. And light green and light yellow and OH! I'm excited to get out my little girlie clothes!
How about... Grace, Emma, or Dorothy?? (Dottie is such a cute nick name!)
What about, Faith, Hope, or Charity? All good choices and in line with Mercy.

P.S. Buckwheat is nice too.
I really can't imagine how Buckwheat could lose out in this name competition.
A virtue name seems like the logical choice, and I too thought of Faith, Hope or Charity right off. Grace is nice and Justice would give a good balance to Mercy. I am sure you will come up with something brilliant. :) PS I always thought Kim hated the name Dorothy (??)
