Electronic Overload

OK, so we had the kids write their Santa letters in anticipation of traveling this week to places with actual stores in which we might Christmas shop. They ALL want electronics, electronics, and more expensive electronics! What happened to TOYS?!!! So, I need feedback from you tech savvy peeps. Give me your reviews on:

The iPad (enough memory for stuff like video editing? compatibility issues?? no USB port a problem???).....

The iPod/iTouch (New nano- how much memory do I need? Is an iTouch worth the bump in price??)

Kindle (Do I just grit my teeth and go for the iPad instead?)

Help me out here Family! I need advice if I am going to have to shell out this kind of cash! The gift count may be small this year. (=

We have the smaller gig itouch. The boys have music, games and movies and still have tons of free space. So I don't think you need to pay more for more gigs. One warning... they can go online with them. We randomly screen the history and they are not allowed to surf online, only go online to buy new games, songs or movies.

Happy shopping!

I had an itouch and NEVER used it. Too small. Now I have the ipad and ALWAYS use it. Too much so in fact! I love it too much... :) I didn't buy our kids the itouch for the exact reason that they can go online with it. It's just a little too much power in the palm of their hands. The nanos are what we got the kids. The boys have the older version without the video camera. I think you can get those used for pretty cheap. Have you seen the new shuffles with a little screen--so cute!!!!

Blah blah blah-that was some random rambling!
