This Monday VP candidate Paul Ryan came to a rally in Durango. Our wars Scout troop got to post the flag for the Pledge. There were a couple of pics in the paper, I posted my favorite here: See pic here!
I love those pictures! (Did the scout troop leave as soon as they were done posting the colors? We had a minor scandal here when they didn't leave after the flag ceremony. I think it was when Ryan visited Provo for a fleeting second about a month ago.)
They did all leave, but only because they all had to get back to school. Is it poor scout form to stay? I am quite ignorant on these types of things ;)
Apparently they can stay, but only if they leave, take off their uniforms, and then return. So the BSA doesn't look like they are endorsing one candidate over the other.
