We originally planned June 18-20 for the reunion. Then the wedding switched our plans to July 22-24. Now that we aren't scheduling around the wedding anymore, I think we should consider switching back to the earlier dates. The Gillelands have a houseboat reserved during the July dates that they don't want to lose. The Skip Rosses could save money by coming in June. Both dates are equally good for the Brad Rosses. How about Weston, Kim, and Nicole?
Are there other reasons to weigh as we decide for or against switching the date back to June? Please be candid and let us know how you're weighing things.

The June dates are not going to work for me now because of work commitments. I would love to be able to still attend Nate's farewell on the 21st. What does everyone think about July 18th-21st?
We had scheduled the original dates around my family in Utah and EFY for Jack in Provo. That happens the last week of June. Skip has already changed from the original dates to July, but can change them back if we hurry and make a decision:).....We would need to buy a ticket for Jack if we keep it in July, so we need to do that soon also if we keep it in July......We vote for June, but want everyone to be able to come.....so let us know:)
We wouldn't be able to make it for the farewell in July. We could arrive sometime late Monday afternoon or evening.
Sounds like the original dates are best. My summer schedule has filled up and would be difficult to change.
I am in Charge of the kitchen for Day camp July 15-19th. I leave at 7:00 am and return at night around 7pm. After being with 300 10 year old boys all day and teaching cooking the whole time, I am pretty beat. I would need Saturday to pack and get stuff ready. I couldn't get us ready to leave until Sunday after Church.
I have updated my dates on the Google calendar. Looks like the original July dates are best for me.
Hey, Kim, can you clarify? "Original" dates meaning the first ones picked, in June, or the ones settled on later in July? Thanks!
The July dates would be better for me, but I think I can still make June work
Okay, gang. No decision will make everyone happy, but I've made one anyway. We will stick with the July dates. I know that isn't great for everyone, but it seems like the least worst option. Get your pinewood derby cars ready because I hear Dad is going to bring some serious competition.
Okay, we will be there late Monday on July 22nd. We will have our cars ready to roll....FEEL THE THUNDER!!!.. However, we are wondering about rules. All of our cars are designed and built to the strict rules of scout pinewood derby's. Will powered cars be allowed? The boys are feeling that it could be slightly unfair. Maybe run the cars that have been made to race in regular races and the tricked up cars in a different race. Plus powered cars are tough on a track:)...Just wondering.
The other thing is a question as to when the reunion ends....23rd, 24th, 25th??
As to powered cars, we will run them in a different heat. :)
As to the end date of the reunion, we are playing around with different ideas. We'll let you know for sure soon!
Thanks:)
